What is the ‘Reuben Burk Coaching Camps’ cancellation policy? |
Full refunds, less a $50 handling fee, will be given for requests prior to ONE MONTH BEFORE START OF CAMP. After this (inside one month of the start of camp) , there will be no refunds of deposit or activation/fees paid. For most occasions we are also happy to switch a camper from one Elite Prospect ID Camp to another date, for no charge. We are understand schedules and circumstances change, however for each camp we do limit the amount of spots available. |
Who is allowed to bring and accompany me to the camps due to COVID-19? ** As of Jan. 1st, 2023, this regulation is lifted ** |
We ask that only one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany the prospective student-athlete to camp. We require that the guardian wear a facial mask and remain socially distanced from others while on campus. This is very important and will be strictly enforced. We strongly encourage siblings not to accompany the prospective student and guardian. Thank you for your cooperation with this as we continue to do our part to keep the community safe. |
Where should I plan to arrive when checking-in? (Address and Directions) |
Check-in will take place behind the Luce Fieldhouse Athletic Center. The registration table will be located on the track, around Silfen Turf Field. If inclimate weather occurs, registration will be inside. Please look for Coach Storton and Coach Burk and the current Conn Men's Soccer players around the back of the building. If using a GPS to get to campus, the address is 270 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320. However, it is important to note that the Luce Fieldhouse Athletic Center is not up top on the main section of campus. When on Rt. 32, you will come to a stop light and on the side of the road you will see a blue sign ‘Athletic Center’. Take that turn and follow the road down the hill towards the water. When you get to the Athletic Center in front of you, stay on the road as it bends right, which will loop around to the backside of the building and take you to the parking lot overlooking the turf field. Please park there or back in front of the fieldhouse. |
Where is the best place to park? |
Down below at the Luce Fieldhouse Athletic Center. There are two parking lots, one behind the building and one in front of the building. Either are fine. However, please do not park up top on the main campus. When going there, please walk and use the pedestrian bridge. |
When should I plan on arriving on campus? |
In our program we have a phrase: "Being early is on time. Being on time is late". Campers should plan on being on campus prior to registration, which TYPICALLY runs from 8:30am - 9:15am for each morning of the camps. If they should have any missing documents, be ready to hand them in at registration. Missing paperwork will result in not being allowed to participate. Also, please review the confirmation email you receive prior to camp, as each Elite Prospect ID Camps registration windows vary slightly. |
What if I need to fly to the camp? |
We recommend flying into Providence (PVD), which is 45 minutes from New London. Another option is Hartford (BDL), which is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Boston Logan (BOS) is 1 hour 40 mins away. Reuben Burk Coaching Camps does not provide shuttle service to or from campus. |
What is the list of paperwork I need to provide before camp? |
Documents should be uploaded during online registration. This is strongly preferred. At the time of registering, if the documents are not ready, then you can log back into your account and upload them at a later date. We greatly appreciate this as well. If you are not able to upload them prior to camp, you MUST bring a copy of them to registration. Campers will not be able to participate if all documents are not received prior to the anticipated 9:10am start time. 1.) Completed Copy of Camp Liability Waiver 2.) Copy of Medical Insurance Card

During the month of August, New London's average high is 80 and its average low is 65. We recommend bringing sunscreen as well as rain gear, so campers are prepared for variable conditions. |
